Travel with Ashley House as he visits some of the most historic sites in the USA, shining the spotlight on Virginia along with its neighbours, Washington, DC, and Maryland. From the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, Ashley moves to The Willard InterContinental in Washington, DC, a historic hotel which welcomed famous guests like civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and writer Mark Twain.

No historical tour of America would be complete without a visit to the home of one of the Founding Fathers. Go with Ashley to Thomas Jefferson's Monticello. Situated in Charlottesville, Virginia, and built when Jefferson was only 26 years old, this plantation also happens to be his resting place. The last stop is the American Civil War Museum, where you can explore the Civil War through artifacts and narratives.
