Major Airports

Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)

This major travel hub supports domestic and international air travel on a wide variety of airlines — more than 35, in fact — to over 80 domestic and 57 international destinations, including 34 world capital connections. A main terminal and four concourses serve more than 23 million passengers annually and, with over 12,000 acres (4,856 hectares), expansion could accommodate up to 55 million in the future. Dulles boasts one of the fastest customs clearance and security processing times in the U.S., numerous innovative technology features like Global Entry, self-serve Passport Kiosks, a Customs mobile app to help expedite completing forms, and government programs that offer biometric screening such as CLEAR and the TSA’s Pre-Check program.

Aside from being a world-class travel facility, Dulles offers fantastic amenities and is committed to a diverse arts program that includes rotating exhibits, public art displays and live performances — all for the enjoyment of our customers. The airport features a wide variety of local and brand-name retail shops, including multiple duty-free stores, spa services, award-winning restaurants from such celebrated chefs as Wolfgang Puck and Michael Symon, and the Washington Redskins (National Football League) Burgundy and Gold Club restaurant.
