Washington, DC

Craft beers are a nation-wide phenomenon and Washington, DC is leading the charge with creative concepts and forward-thinking experts. Enjoy small batch craft beers from 3 Stars Brewing Company, Atlas Brew Works, Bluejacket, Right Proper, DC Brau, and Hellbender Brewing Company. Gordon Biersch serves food and their handcrafted German style beers with a European flair while the forties are still fabulous at District Chophouse which serves steaks, chops, and seafood to pair with their beers brewed onsite.

Maryland

The waterfront city of Baltimore is home to several breweries and locally crafted brews: the Brewer’s Art, Leinenkugel's Beer Garden, Heavy Seas Beer, and Union Craft Brewing. Be sure to check out Pratt Street Ale House, a full service restaurant that is home to Oliver Breweries, Baltimore’s oldest craft brewery. Guinness Open Gate Brewery & Barrel House opened in 2018, the first Guinness presence on US soil since 1954. In addition to a taproom, restaurant, and retail store, the operation is crafting small-batch brews you can’t find anywhere else.

Enjoy the house beers as well as excellent culinary creations at Brewer's Alley, the first Brewpub in Frederick County, Maryland. Frederick is also home to Flying Dog Brewery, one of the fastest-growing regional craft breweries in the mid-Atlantic. Take the two hour brewery tour which includes five sample tastings and a commemorative glass. Monocacy Brewing Company brews and packages their beers in the old Ebert’s Ice Cream plant located in historic Downtown Frederick.
